On July 28, 2017, Consortium Legal Aid Georgia (LAG) organized round table in Rustavi with the representatives of the local self-government from Rustavi and Gardabani. During the round table, the findings and accomplishments of the “Supporting Human Rights and Protection of Internally Displaced People in Georgia” project were presented and discussed. The project has been implemented by LAG in partnership with international organization Save the Children and with financial support by the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (BPRM). The meeting was concluded with signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the parties which entails strengthening cooperation among the signatory parties in the process of protection of IDPs and other vulnerable groups and increasing their access to state and municipal services.
