On September 14, 2017, the Consortium Legal Aid Georgia (LAG) facilitated the second meeting of the working group composed of the local community based and civil society organizations that are working on IDP issues in Samegrelo region.

During the meeting the participants have worked on the working group’s Terms of Reference (ToR) and a detailed action plan for the advocacy campaign.

The meeting was held in the framework of the“Towards the Fairer Society” project which is implemented by LAG together with Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and Charity Humanitarian Center “Abkhazeti” (CHCA) in several regions of Georgia. The goal of the project is to capacitate local CBOs and NGOs working on IDP issues so that they can advocate for their rights. The project is funded by Civil Society Development Fund (CISU).
